Harper Zimmer, PA-C

Harper specializes in sports medicine, injury rehabilitation, and regenerative medicine. She aims to provide holistic medical care for each patient and values a research based approach to treatment. Harper aims to improve her patients' quality of life and assist them in improving their movement, functionality, and pain.

Harper completed her undergraduate degree at Allegheny College, in Meadville Pennsylvania, with a major in biology and a minor in studio art. She went on to complete her Masters of Physician Assistant studies, at Chatham University in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. As a board certified and licensed Physician Assistant, Harper aims to empower her patients, create an inclusive and welcoming space for her patients to share their experiences, and apply evidenced-based care with each approach to treatment.

As an avid lover of hiking, outdoor recreation, and long distance running, Harper appreciates the importance of understanding the impacts that injury can have on daily functioning and interests, as well as mental health. She strives to view the patient as whole, respecting that more goes into an injury and recovery than just physical medicine.

Harper is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as a member of the Washington Academy of Physician Assistants, both of which allow her to continue to expand and stay up to date on her medical knowledge as well as improve her personal practice.

Outside of work, Harper loves spending time in the mountains camping, backpacking, hiking, or long distance running. Harper also participates in, creates, and auctions off her own activist artwork to raise money for various organizations that are close to her heart. She also enjoys spending time relaxing and reading at home with her cats, Mindy and Bagheera.
