Dr. Snyder is a board-certified physiatrist with subspecialty board certifications in sports medicine and electrodiagnosis.
Dr. Snyder's clinical practice focuses primarily on musculoskeletal medicine, including spine care, sports medicine and pain management. He also has a keen interest in neurologic injuries, with an emphasis on electrodiagnostic testing, and rehabilitation.
He obtained his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, graduating with Phi Beta Kappa honors. He completed his medical degree at the University of Maryland, and earned membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. His residency training in PM&R was completed at the University of Washington.
He is currently board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
His practice philosophy involves understanding the history of an injury, and the many causes of both acute and chronic pain. He utilizes a holistic treatment approach emphasizing a comprehensive rehabilitation program that integrates both conventional and alternative approaches to facilitate healing.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, and exploring the outdoors. His recreational interests include backcountry skiing, climbing mountains, soccer and Ultimate Frisbee.
