Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has shown remarkable benefits for patients who have experienced injuries from motor vehicle accidents and other traumas. This includes individuals with traumatic brain injuries where some have seen significant improvement in regaining their normal functions.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

At Seattle Spine & Sports Medicine, we are proud to offer Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) as an advanced treatment option for individuals recovering from Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) or experiencing TBI-related symptoms. HBOT involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized environment, which promotes brain healing, reduces inflammation, and enhances cognitive function. This innovative therapy is part of our commitment to providing comprehensive, personalized care to support your recovery and well-being.

What can I expect?

Our advanced hard-shell hyperbaric oxygen chamber is designed to optimize recovery. During a 90-minute session, the chamber increases pressure to 2.0 ATA, enhancing oxygen delivery throughout your body. As the chamber pressurizes, you may notice a slight sensation in your ears, similar to what you experience during air travel. This is normal and can be easily relieved by yawning or swallowing.

While inside the chamber, you can relax and enjoy the experience by listening to music, reading, or watching a movie. Our team is dedicated to guiding you through every step of the process, ensuring your comfort and ease during each session. HBOT is a non-invasive, well-tolerated therapy offering significant benefits to support your recovery journey.

Disclaimer: Please note that we do not provide wound care services. Our Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is specifically focused on supporting recovery and healing for individuals with Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) or TBI-related symptoms.
