Owner, Vestibular Therapy Specialist
Kaela Pauly graduated from Western Washington University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado in 2016. She also completed the Herdman Vestibular Competency Course in 2022, which is instructed by Duke University and considered to be the highest level of continuing education for vestibular-related conditions.
She has been specializing in the treatment of vestibular rehabilitation since 2016. Her passion for vestibular rehabilitation began early in her career during clinical rotations in outpatient neurological clinics. The diverse symptom presentation of vestibular conditions and the underrepresentation of vestibular care in physical therapy is what continues to drive her interest in this specialty. She participates in local dizzy support groups and UW/Swedish case studies. She also provides vestibular in-clinic services for providers with the goal of increasing access to vestibular care in the community.
In addition, Kaela has extensive training in Postural Restoration Institute techniques and movement/gait analysis to help optimize musculoskeletal functioning and breathing mechanics. Combining her orthopedic and vestibular skills allows her to treat a wide variety of balance and dizziness disorders such as cervicogenic dizziness, postural abnormalities or instability, TBIs, and concussions.
She is committed to providing high quality care to her patients, with individualized and evidence-based treatment plans, and became the co-owner of Vestibular Therapy Specialists with Dr. Morgan Kriz in 2021.
Kaela was raised in the pacific northwest and loves the outdoors. In her spare time, she enjoys activities such as hiking, skiing, and stand-up paddle boarding, as well as spending quality time with friends, family & her two dogs.
